Cushnie et Ochs Resort 2015

Hello, lovelies!

One of my favorite international brands, Cushnie et Ochs showed off recently its resort 2015 collection and I must say I’m in love!

Keeping the jungle inspiration in mind, the duo of designers brought us to a safari atmosphere with a lot of olive green surfaced in their short, flippy dresses with mesh panels. The designers’ signature dramatic cutouts are all there too — including one style done in white with leopard print detail. Cobra snakes inspired many of the curves and cut-outs applied to the fronts and backs of dresses and matching skirt/top combos. The leopard print, which the duo used on bathing suits, was graphic and reserved and improves the pieces to an accessible and sophisticated modesty. “It’s just a little bit brighter because it has that white,” said Cushnie “It’s minimal, not too overwhelming; we wanted it to be clean.”

“Athletic lines and mesh detailing. Slashing,” said Michelle Ochs. “With a jungle-esque feel,” Carly Cushnie added.
